The New Jersey Water Environment Association is a great source of local scholarships that are awarded every school year. The American Council of Engineering Companies of New Jersey is another local organization that provides engineering scholarships to students.

In order to work as an electrical engineer in New Jersey, you have to apply for your license through the New Jersey State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. The board requires the completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam. Once they receive your test scores and application, the board will approve your application and send you your license in the mail.
